What is NASTAR?
Developed by SKI Magazine in 1968, NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race) is the world’s largest recreational ski and snowboard race program, offering a handicap system that lets racers of all ages and abilities compete and compare results regardless of when or where they race.
Getting Started
If you’ve raced NASTAR since 1997, you’re already in the system — just verify your information before the season begins. New to NASTAR? Register online to receive your unique Registration Number, then give it to the starter at the top of the course and you’re off! Racers earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals based on NASTAR’s national handicap system. Forgot your number? Search by last name here. For FAQs, click here.

– Course Hours: Thursdays & Sundays in Jan/Feb — Thu 6:30–9:30PM | Sun 2:00–5:00PM
– A lift ticket or pass and a NASTAR ID Number are required to race
Private Coaching
- Private lessons w/ professional race coach (1 hour) available during public NASTAR course hours.
- $195 per hour (includes 1-hour lift ticket per 1-hour session).
