Ski Sundown’s base area has everything you need for a great day on the mountain. From our Snowsports School to the Ski Shop, Rental Shop, and Food & Bar, explore the full list of on-site services below to make the most of your visit to our New Hartford, CT ski resort.
Go Card Kiosks
Go Card Kiosks are located to the right of the double-door entrance of the lodge. Simply scan the QR code from your confirmation email at any kiosk, and your Go Card will print instantly.
The Lodge
Ski Sundown's Lodge features spacious seating and dining areas with sweeping views of the mountain. Inside, you'll find the Welcome Center, Snowsports School, food court, The Last Chair bar, restrooms, an ATM, coin-operated lockers, free cubicles for personal belongings, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
SNOWSPORTS SCHOOL
Ski Sundown's Snowsports School features 150+ staff passionate about sharing skiing and riding with your family. As members of both PSIA and AASI, our certified instructors and coaches deliver top-quality lessons with small class sizes, grounded in three core principles: Safety, Fun, and Learning — ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
SKI PATROL & MOUNTAIN HOSTS
Ski Sundown's Ski Patrol and Mountain Host Unit comprise 100+ volunteers, all members of the National Ski Patrol System. Our patrollers maintain first aid and emergency medical skills to safely care for and evacuate injured guests, while both teams work together to promote safety across the mountain.
Ski Shop
Stop by the Ski Sundown Ski Shop, located upstairs from the Rental Shop, for the latest ski and snowboard clothing and accessories. We carry jackets, pants, thermals, helmets, goggles, gloves, hats, and more — perfect for anything you may have left at home. Don't miss our logo wear too!
Welcome Center
Have questions? Our friendly Welcome Center Staff is happy to assist you! We are located inside the lodge, at the desk opposite of our main food court. You can also find us at any one of our outdoor ticket windows.
Rental, Tuning & Repair
Our Rental Shop carries only top quality ski and snowboard equipment. We are located on the 1st floor of the Rental building. Our Tuning & Repair Shop can also be found inside the Rental building, near the Boot Return Desk.
Food & Bar
From a food court and outdoor grill to The Last Chair bar, Ski Sundown has you covered for every craving — whether it's a pre-run breakfast, a quick snack, or an après-ski cocktail with friends.
