Ski Sundown offers many services in their base facilities area. These include the Lodge & Banquet Center, Welcome Center (or Guest Services), Rental, Tuning & Repair Shop, Snowsports School, Ski Shop, Food Courts, The Last Chair bar/lounge and Ski Patrol.

The Lodge

Ski Sundown’s Lodge has spacious areas for seating and dining with large windows overlooking our base area. Inside the Lodge you will find our Welcome Center, Snowsports School, two self-serve food areas, The Last Chair bar & lounge, restroom facilities, ATM machine, coin operated lockers and free cubicles for personal belongings. Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available.

In the off-season, we also offer our Lodge space as a Banquet Center for weddings, corporate meetings, retreats/workshops, family reunions, birthday parties, special events, and fundraisers. Please see link below for more Information.

Rental, Tuning & Repair Shop

Our Rental Shop carries top quality ski and snowboard equipment by Elan, Head, Rossignol, Burton, Dalbello, Nordica, and Tyrolia. We are located on the ground floor of the Rental building. Our Tuning & Repair Shop can also be found inside the Rental building, near the Boot Return Desk.

Snowsports School

The Snowsports School at Ski Sundown is made up of over 200 dedicated staff members whose mission is to share their love of skiing and riding with you and your family. We are a member school of the American Association of Snowboard Instructors and The Professional Ski Instructors of America, which provide educational leadership and national certifications to our professional staff of instructors and coaches.

Our school takes great pride in providing superior service and quality lessons, while ensuring small class sizes. Our lessons are based on three basic principles that speak for themselves: SAFETY, FUN, and LEARNING. By using this approach in all of our lessons, our pros strive to create the best possible environment for each and every guest, thus ensuring a memorable and successful experience.

Lessons are offered daily to kids and adults ages 3 & older of any skill level and may be purchased at our Welcome Center desk located inside the Lodge. In addition, the Snowsports School has 20 volunteers specifically trained in adaptive instruction for individuals of all ages with physical, cognitive or developmental disabilities.

Ski Shop

Visit the Ski Sundown Ski Shop where you will find the latest ski and snowboard clothing and accessories… including those items you may have forgotten to bring with you! We are located upstairs above the Rental Shop. Choose from an assortment of jackets, ski pants, thermal wear, helmets, eye gear, gloves and hats and other winter accessories. Don’t forget to check out our logo wear of t-shirts, hoodies, and vests.

SKI PATROL & MOUNTAIN HOSTS

Ski Sundown Ski Patrol, Inc. and the Ski Sundown Mountain Host Unit have over 100 dedicated volunteers who are members of The National Ski Patrol System, Inc.

Members of the Ski Patrol and Mountain Hosts are here to promote ski and snowboard safety. In addition, members of the Patrol maintain first aid and emergency medical skills, and care for and evacuate injured skiers and snowboarders safely from the ski area.
